New statue for Madrid.- The popular statue of the phoenix that crowned the building on Alcalá Street has been replaced by a sculpture - a nude of a winged woman - by Federico Coullant Valera. The reason for the change lies in the purchase of the Building, former headquarters of the company La Unión y el Fénix, by another company.
