1963 Rolls Royce Phantom V. First launched in 1959, the Phantom V featured a new, aluminium 6230cc V8 engine. The Phantom was designed purely as a 'State' limousine, aimed at Royalty, Heads of State and the very rich. The car weighed almost 3 tons. Most of the Phantoms had Mulliner Park Ward coachwork and optional features included cocktail cabinets, television, and even early telephone systems. Most cars included an electric glass partition and fold out occasional seats. Production finished in 1968 when the model was replaced with the similar Phantom VI.
