The central part of this bit boss is decorated in low relief with a satyr's mask with two ribbons hanging out of his mouth. He is surrounded by two protomes of monsters with horned lion's heads. The rim, decorated with volutes and a wreath, is pierced for attaching it to the side of a horse bit.
