Caractacus or Caratacus (active 51 AD)

Caractacus or Caratacus (active 51 AD) King of the Britons.  Other versions of his name a Caradoc or Caradawg.  British hero who resisted Roman invasion in 43.  Finally defeated near Shrewsbury, Shropshire in 51, and taken to Rome as a prisoner, shown in front of Emperor Claudius . Died in captivity.
