Model of the Mortar Bed of a Bomb Demolition, Model of the cross-section of a ship, on which the construction of the support of a mortar rack is indicated twice, on a standard on a floorboard. On one side the construction is fully worked out and can be taken apart completely, on the other side it is only partly shown. The ship has two decks, under each mortar rack there are five cat tracks in the hold, going from one side to the other under the deck beams of the lower deck. In the longitudinal direction two walls are arranged of stacked beams, connected by dovetail tails, which support the upper deck. The finished part is also completely filled with beams and struts, which creates two cupboards in the hold, the whole finished with a large number of added metals and artificial knees. This part is also detailed with the mortar on her affuit à pivot. Parts of the deck must be removed for the pivot to turn. The mortar is 6.8 cm long and has a 15 mm caliber. The other part, not worked out, is provided with the hood with which the gun is covered. A hatch with grates has been fitted between the two mortar racks.
