Henry Ford (1863 - 1947), founder of the Ford Motor Company and the Henry Ford Company (Cadillac). Inventor of the ''Quadricycle'', Ford introduced the Model T, which was manufactured for almost two decades. Ford revolutionized industrial production by applying assembly line manufacting to the mass production of cars. He also instituted the $5 a day minimum wage and is said to have contributed to the creation of the middle class.
