Paisley Caves, Oregon

Paisley Caves is widely regarded as the oldest confirmed archaeological site in the western hemisphere at 14,500 years old. The caves are located in a volcanic formation called Five Mile Point in central Oregon. When the site was occupied the plain in the foreground would have been a vast lake.
