Heart Attack Infographic

An infographic on heart attacks. A heart attack occurs when oxygen rich blood is unable to reach areas of the heart. If blood flow isn't restored, the heart muscles around the area will begin to die. At left is a diagram depicting coronary heart disease, the most common cause of heart attacks. CHD occurs when a waxy substance called plague accumulates inside the coronary artery, restricting blood flow.
