TOP GOWN IN DIOR SHOW TODAY. 25 aPRIL 1950. Models from Paris hold the fashion spotlight in London as famed French designer Christian Dior presents his summer collection in two fashion parades in the Savoy Hotel today (Tuesday). This is his first London showing, and Mons. Dior has flown his own mannequins from Paris for the occasion. All fashions are in British fabrics. Five hundred people pay two pounds and two shillings each to view the styles, and the proceeds for to help fund a Museum of Costume in London. It is called the Mozart and is made of pale champagne tulle embroidered in diamond and straw.
