'Jerusalem.- Exterior of the Golden or Beautiful Gate', 1902. Suleiman the Magnificent sealed the gate in 1541, maybe for defensive reasons, but in Jewish tradition, this is the gate through which the Messiah would enter Jerusalem and it could have been sealed to prevent the Messiah's entrance.
