YOUNGEST COMPITITOR. JAN DAG STOA of the Koll Club 13-year-old mascot of the 25-man Norwegian ski team, soars into the air of the Hampstead Heath (London) ski run tonight during Britain's first outdoor ski jumping competition. Jan is considered an outstanding boy jumper. He won the Norwegian boys championship this year. Snow for the ski runs was imported from Norway for the contest, and skiers spend most of the day laying it over a bedding of straw on the specially-constructed ski run. Despite the balmy spring weather, the contest will continue tomorrow. 24 march 1950.
