Annette Kellerman was the first major actress to do a nude scene in "A Daughter of the Gods", 1916. Annette Kellermann (1887 - 1975) was a famous Australian professional swimmer, vaudeville star, film actress, and writer. She was one of the first women to wear a one-piece bathing suit and helped popularize the sport of synchronized swimming. She appeared in several films. Bain News Service, 1916.
