Mrs B Hooja, a student of sculpture from Delhi, looks at " Biolith ", a Blue Ancaster stone sculpture by Barbara Hepworth, on show at the Second International Open Air Exhibition of Sculpture in Battersea Park, London. The Exhibition - the first was held in 1948 - has been organised by the London County Council in Association with the Arts Council of Great Britain. Barbara Hepworth, who has done some work for the Festival of Britatin's South Bank Exhibition, was born in Wakefield, Yorkshire, in 1903, and she now lives in Cornwall. 7 May 1951.
