Turkey, Myra, Lycian Tombs

Turkey, Myra, Lycian Tombs. The large number of rock-cut tombs is strewn all across the cliff face in an asymmetrical pattern. Some are house-type tombs, while others are temple-like tombs. Most of the tombs were carved in the 4th century BC, many of which feature funerary scenes in relief, or scenes from the deceased person's daily life.
