'Sutton Place', 1911, (1914). Sutton Place, Guildford, Surrey is a Grade I listed Tudor manor house built c1525 by Sir Richard Weston (d1541), courtier of Henry VIII. Sutton Manor, within which the Tudor mansion is situated, appears in Domesday Book of 1086 as Sudtone.
