The left hand is laid against the body and reaches into the coat, which is led over the left shoulder and - as it seems - extends across the body with a broad bulge. The mask has a funnel-shaped mouth opening and raised eyebrows. It is the figure of the old man from the New Comedy. The back is smooth and without a burning hole.
