G. Bushell, of Brizton, who was parachuted into France to carry to the Maquis vital information about the Allies invasion plan, and atrociously tortured and then killed by the Nazis. They captured her after a gun-fight in which she killed or wounded several members of the Gestapo. December 17, 1946.
