Suzanne Valadon, 1865 1938, French artist, born Marie-Clémentine Valadon. Valadon was the first woman admitted to the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts. Between the ages of 15 and 25 she modeled for various artists including Toulouse-Lautrec. She is the woman in Renoir's painting Dance at Bougival. Suzanne Valadon was the mother of Maurice Utrillo.
