Caption:
Autun Cathedral is a Roman Catholic cathedral, and a national monument of France. It was built between 1120 and 1146 as a pilgrimage church to hold the relics of Lazarus. The interior of Autun Cathedral is austerely Romanesque and rather dark. The church is decorated with sculptures and carvings by the great Romanesque sculptor Gislebertus. Gothic additions were made to the church in the 15th century, including the side chapels and the large spire.
