Anonymous, 18th century, Bearer: 40.5 x 32.8 x 1cm 405 x 328 x 10mm, coat of arms, Color drawing on parchment with the alliance coat of arms of Mr Willem van Zwieten, secretary of the Orphan Chamber in Leiden, and Henrika Baert. The alliance weapon consists of two weapons: on the left the weapon of Van Zwieten, consisting of a red shield containing three violins with the neck down; on the right the coat of arms of Baert, consisting of a round shield with three horizontal stripes: a blue stripe with two stars, a red stripe with one star and a white stripe with a fish. Above the weapons is a helmet with a cuirass with a crowned dog above it as a helmet sign and around it a red helmet cover. Under the alliance coat of arms is a cartouche containing the two names. In the quarters are four weapons: above again the weapons of Van Zwieten and Baert, both depicted in a crowned shield; bottom left the coat of arms of Hogenhoek, depicted as a crowned shield with three bird claws against a red background; and at the bottom right the coat of arms of Van Wouw, depicted as a crowned shield with a swan with a crown around his neck against a green with blue background. All four weapons bear the family names on a white band, 1918.
