Limestone block with dedication. Culture: Greek, Ptolemaic Egyptian. Dimensions: Overall: 5 3/4 x 7 7/8 x 1 3/8 in. (14.6 x 20 x 3.5 cm). Date: late 3rd century B.C..
Dedication to Ptolemy IV Philopator (r. 221-204 B.C.) and his sister, Queen Arsinoe, by Teos, son of Horos, who was a guard at the site of Ammonieion, possibly the Temple of Ammon, near Thebes in Upper Egypt.
The piece is not part of the Cesnola Collection of Cypriot antiquities.
