Miss Helen Keller visited the Aborigine Mission at La Perouse yesterday where she was entertained by a three man " gum leaf" band led by George Longbottom (next to Miss Keller).. Miss Keller " heard" the band by placing her fingers on Longbottons mouth, larngx and portion of the gum leaf that he was playing.
