At the center of the back of the neck is an elongated insert made of ribbed silk. The body with 'tail' is made up of two long straight strips, which depend from the shoulders forwards to the waist and from the back to the 'tail'. On the back, they are connected to each other by a seam at the back of the middle and fitted with two flat pleats on either side of the seam.
