WWI, Church Damaged by German Shellfire, Reims

On September 4, 1914, a month after the beginning of WWI, the German army entered Reims. It was pushed back but it took refuge in the surrounding fortresses, and started bombardment for the next three and half years. Notre-Dame Cathedral was badly hit and received almost 300 shells. The siege ended with the destruction of more than 80 % of the town and the death of more than 5 000 casualties. This church was not identified as Reims Cathedral, but we were unable to find information about other churches damaged at Reims during WWI.
