Dress of the reign of King George III, 1780. Gown and petticoat of pale lilac lutestring trimmed with gardenia or jessamine. Handkerchief and apron of chequered gauze. Hair ornament of pearls set in five pins in the form of stars diminishing in size. From a family wardrobe preserved.
