Following the assassination of King Alexander of Yugoslavia at Marseille yesterday Oct. 09, it was announced in Belgrade last night that the heir to the throne (Eleven-year-old Crown Prince Peter) would be proclaimed King, and a regency council appointed during his minority. King Alexander in his Last will nominated Queen Marie, Prince Paul, and the President of the Supreme Court at Belgrade, as members of the regency.
