Lady on a Train is a 1945, film noir, crime film directed by Charles David and starring Deanna Durbin. Based on a story by Leslie Charteris, the film is about a woman who witnesses a murder in a nearby building from her train window. Edna Mae Durbin (1921 - 2013), known professionally as Deanna Durbin, was a Canadian-born American-based actress and singer, who appeared in musical films in the 1930s and 1940s.
