Dress (Mantua) with Train Wedding gown made of light blue ripped silk embroidered with a floral motif in multicolored silk, consisting of a body with 'tail', skirt and train, Wedding gown made of light blue ripped silk embroidered with a floral motif in multicolored silk, consisting of a body with 'tail' (a), skirt (b) and a drag (c). Model: 'Grande Parure'. Was worn over a very wide hoop skirt, 'panier à coudes'. Skirt consists of eight lanes and has a hem that has been folded inwards of 1.5 cm, which is fixed with large and small basting stitches. Linen inner body and at the waist a linen ribbon for closure around the waist. Sleeves lined with linen. The rib side of the body is cut off and not finished. At the center of the back of the neck is an elongated insert made of ribbed silk. The body with 'tail' is made up of two long straight strips, which depend from the shoulders forwards to the waist and from the back to the 'tail'. On the back, they are connected to each other by a seam at the back of the middle and fitted with two flat pleats on either side of the seam.
