Restored marble statues on the Schlossbrücke in Berlin (August 2010) . The Schlossbrücke, which crosses the western arm of the Spree, was built by Karl Friedrich Schinkel in 1822-1823. A historic bridge railing and 8 marble statues adorn the Palace Bridge, making it one of the most beautiful bridges in Berlin. The Palace Bridge at the eastern end of Unter den Linden in the centre of Berlin was constructed 1821-24. The Bridge was designed by Karl Friedrich Schinkel.
