Map of Solar System, 19th century

A chart of the solar system with planetary details alongside. Note that the list of planets includes Ceres, Pallas, Juno and Vesta. These asteroids (in order of discovery) were counted as planets from 1808 until 1845. Ceres was the first asteroid discovered and now is labeled as a dwarf planet, taking up about 1/3 of the entire mass of the asteroid belt.
