Japan: Emperor Junna was the 40th emperor of Japan, according to the traditional order of succession. (r. notionally 810-823). Wooden carving of Junna at Jinguji Temple, Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture. Late Heian period (11th-12th century)

Junna had six Empresses and Imperial consorts and 13 Imperial sons and daughters. His personal name (imina) was Otomo (??). Junna is traditionally venerated at his tomb; the Imperial Household Agency designates Oharano no Nishi no Minenoe no Misasagi (???????, Oharano no Nishi no Minenoe Imperial Mausoleum), in Nishikyo-ku, Kyoto, as the location of Junna's mausoleum.
