Julián Gayarre (1844-1890). Spanish opera singer. Engraving of 1890 where Gayarre is portrayed dressed for the representation of "The Pearl Fishers" (Les pêcheurs de perles), opera in three acts by Georges Bizet, to a libretto by Eugène Cormon and Michel Carré. It was the last opera he sang, on 8 December 1889 at the Teatro Real in Madrid. Later colouration.
