The Goldstone Antenna

The 70-meter Goldstone Antenna located near Barstow, CA in the Goldstone Deep Space Communications Complex. The Goldstone Observatory's main purpose is to track and communicate with space missions. When operated as a bi-static radar, Goldstone is capable of detecting 2 mm debris at altitudes below 1,000 km.
