The repeating and continuous pattern consists of a feather-shaped flower and a star-shaped flower with five pointed petals on curved stems. Between the successive flowers, a wavy leaf cuts the stem of the feather-shaped flower. Under the stem of the star-shaped flower lies a thin plume-shaped flower or ear along the lower edge. The motifs are connected by a nice decorative ground, a snow ground. The motifs are made in linen with openwork edges and net fill under the wavy leaf. The top of the strip is finished straight. The faint scallops along the underside of the strip stem from the pattern and are finished with picots., anonymous, Southern Netherlands, c. 1700 - c. 1749, linen (material), Binche lace, l 52 cm × w 2 cm ×, 12.6 cm.
