Albertosaurus sarcophagus wanders a prehistoric forest.

Albertosaurus sarcophagus lived in the Alberta region of Canada about 70 million years ago. It is part of the Tyrannosaur family tree and some scientists suggest Gorgosaurus is actually another species of Albertosaurus. Additionally there have been findings of another possible species in the U.S. southwest. Smaller than T-Rex they grew to about 30 feet long.
