Painted wooden ceiling in St. Martin's Church, Zillis, Switzerland, (1928). '2nd Half of 12th Century...Detail of a painted wooden ceiling in St. Martin's at Zillis (Grisons). The wooden ceiling is divided into 153 square compartments in which, besides symbolical and fabulous monsters, scenes from the Gospel are also represented, as well as the Evangelists'. After R.
